We love our Royal Earl Grey so much that we want to keep drinking it all day. But, it is a well known fact that drinking caffeine in the evening can be troublesome for some people. Therefore, what to do when you want to continue drinking a tea such as Earl Grey? We have you covered.  We’ve created our Decaf Royal Earl Grey Tea for you to enjoy any time of the day. Even in the middle of the night if it pleases you!  Just as good as the caffeinated version but with no keeping you awake. This tea retains it’s full body taste with the refined Bergamot citrus notes.

The process of decaffeinating tea can affect the flavour which is why we use the C02 method; this removes the caffeine whilst preserving the integrity of the leaf. The process involves streams of pressurised and heated CO2 passing through the tea leaves, which bonds to the caffeine molecules and removes it leaving the flavour and tea intact.

We are committed to removing the very last of the plastic from our tea range. Our next big packaging change will be sourcing a fully sustainable bag for our 250g loose leaf & 45 tea bags, for now they are a high grade recyclable plastic so please reuse & recycle them responsibly.
