Delicious Shetland coffee, with gladness at its heart

In Shetland, we’re not just glad to see you; we’re ‘aye blyde’ to see you. And we’re right blyde to bring you freshly brewed island coffee that’s as warm and heartfelt as our famous Shetland welcomes

Blyde Welcome coffee beans are roasted and packed in Orkney. Our coffee blends are balanced and delicious; the characteristics perfectly match the stunning Shetland beaches they are each named after.

Give your coffee the Blyde Welcome treatment

As coffee lovers, we have pretty high standards. We expect a lot from our favourite blends and we know you do, too. If instant granules or forgettable roasts were your thing, we’re pretty sure you wouldn’t be here now.

Thankfully, you’ll find neither in the Blyde Welcome range.

Whether you brew with an espresso machine or a cafetière, a stove-top pot or a pour-over, you’ll find the perfect Blyde Welcome coffee for your tastes.

Each coffee comes with a stunning landscape of flavours, much like our beloved Shetland beaches, which is why we’ve named them after our shores.

And just like those beautiful beaches, our coffee is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

And now you can!

We believe your coffee should taste great whilst doing good in the world.
To ensure a fresh, delicious drink with fewer travel miles and processing steps, our coffees are roasted locally in Orkney. Our roastery is certified by the Fairtrade Foundation, the Rainforest Alliance and the Speciality Coffee Association. By working with the Orkney Roastery, we’re aligned with coffeekids.org, helping to improve the livelihoods of farmers and their families in our specific growing regions and beyond. Closer to home, the work we do here in Shetland, gives back directly to the community by employing local staff and upskilling and developing the workforce in our clients’ establishments. We’re proud to bring this delicious coffee to Shetland, and we know you’ll be right blyde to taste it too.
